Supporting your local NHS Trust is a great way of getting your staff and clients engaged and excited about working with you.

A programme of corporate volunteering opportunities is under development but in the meantime there are three ways in which you and your organisation can start making a difference:

Green Spaces Project Days

As part of our Green Spaces Appeal, we are working to enhance the ward gardens and meadow areas that our patients, families and carers can access.  Some of these garden spaces would greatly benefit from a team day taking on the hard work of weeding, pruning and clearing so that the ward teams can start to make the best use of the space with their patients or regular volunteers.  It would definitely be a long day of manual labour but would be a bonding activity for your team and give lasting pleasure to so many people - how many team days can achieve that!

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is actively seeking to increase opportunities for those who might not be able to access careers due to personal or financial restraints.  Part of this work is through the provision of apprenticeship programmes across a variety of administrative and healthcare careers.  Your organisation can be part of this through the sponsoring an apprenticeship or sharing part of an apprenticeship levy that is currently under-utilised.

There are two ways in which your organisation can support the Oxford Health Charity directly through donations:

  1. Fundraising - as you can see from our appeals and funds, there are lots of specific projects your teams can get involved with and a bake sale, parachute jump, run or walk can make a huge difference in terms of donations.
  2. Supporting our annual raffles - if you have a product or activity which you would be happy to donate as a prize to one of our annual raffles, not only will you be boosting your brand to our staff but also helping raise money for the areas most in need.
