On Saturday, 22 April I’m taking part in the annual 26-mile walk to raise funds for ROSY (Respite for Oxfordshire’s Sick Youngsters) - a brilliant charity which offers a service the NHS would otherwise be unable to provide.
ROSY helps the families of children with severe disability, chronic or terminal illness by funding the following:
*Respite nursing care at home for children, by respite nurses and health care assistants
*Equipment to improve the quality of life for families who are looking after a disabled or sick child.
* A counselling service for families affected by having a child with a severe disability or illness.
It’s a wonderful cause, and all the money raised will go directly towards providing help.
