The Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust Littlemore site covers a variety of adult mental health wards and supported living housing. Many of the service users on site are here for extended periods and have limited access to gyms or wellbeing activities outside of the wards.

In addition to the wards, offices and housing, the site also has a beautiful wildflower meadow - supported by the Green Spaces Appeal, Oxford Health Charity - which is currently used by service users and staff for walks and as a place for reflective thinking. The outdoor gym equipment will enhance the meadow area by introducing ways for people to exercise while enjoying the benefits of fresh air, nature and the sense of wellbeing provided by the meadow itself.

The wards will be asking their service users what they would like to see provided in the outdoor gym and the funds raised will hopefully enable us to really make a difference at this site.

Please support us to raise enough funds to develop this outdoor gym area - our team of twelve runners will be training hard over the summer for the Half Marathon and will post regular updates on how this is going.
