Oxford Health Cares is a way to say 'thank you' to all those NHS staff who work tirelessly to support patients, carers and the wider community everyday

The Oxford Health Cares appeal was created in March 2020 as a way of supporting staff through the COVID-19 pandemic.  It's primary approach during the first and second lockdowns was to enable the creation and delivery of care packs to staff across the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust sites with over 2000 packs going out between March and December 2020.  In early 2021, it evolved to deliver a virtual wellbeing programme with over 60 wellbeing sessions offered in a six week period during the third lockdown.  Donations from individuals, organisations and community groups as well as existing Oxford Health Charity funds and NHS Charities Together grants made this project happen and staff across the Trust are so very grateful for it.

As we move into a different stage of the pandemic, the Oxford Health Cares appeal continues with the aim of supporting staff wellbeing across the Trust in the long term.  We are working with staff teams to identify projects and activities that will enhance their wellbeing and give back to those who give us so much.
