Volunteer Hayley Clark, moving on from Volunteer to a career with Oxford Health

Volunteer Hayley Clark has been supporting the Memory Clinic based at Saffron House since July of this year. As 2024 comes to an end, Hayley is finishing her role as a Volunteer to begin a substantive role with Oxford Health as a Trainee Educational Mental Health Practitioner. Hayley and her supervisor Ceri Potter share how much of an impact Hayley has had for the team and helped to shape the Volunteer role at the memory clinic for the future. Read more

Jenny Arthy – Arts in Health Volunteer – Marlborough   I came to the Cotswold Ward via The Arts Society who had a year’s funding to bring art as a therapeutic activity to support the young with mental illness. “The comfort that a moment with an animal can have on someone who is suffering, cannot be underestimated. Volunteers Week - Spotlight on AiM Home research Volunteers

During Volunteers Week 2024 we launched recruitment for a very exciting new Volunteer role supporting the AiM Home research project. AiM (Arts Impact Measured) at Home, a collaboration with the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Primary Care Health Sciences Department, The University of Southampton and Oxford Health Community Research team, will evaluate the effects of arts-based activities for South Oxfordshire patients cared for at home.
