Thank you from Emily Buckle, Physical Disability Physiotherapy Service for their volunteer, Susan Gibbs:

"Susan has been invaluable to the Physical Disability Physiotherapy Service (PDPS).  She is supporting us to collect 'I Want Great Care' feedback. Susan makes telephone calls to the patients we have discharged to enable people to feedback who would otherwise be unable to using the online form. Since she started volunteering with us our feedback numbers have greatly increased and we have received meaningful comments and morale boosting feedback.

Thank you Susan for all you do."

Thank you from Dr Laura Aggett and Lauren Grant, Wiltshire Community Eating Disorder Service for their volunteer team:

"The volunteers have been instrumental to supporting the team with service development initiatives, such as, the service website and service leaflets, always bringing fresh perspectives and ideas. In the context of a very busy service, the volunteers have been an invaluable resource to support the team.

It was so helpful to have ... part of the session, and to reflect together following these appointments ... built up a lovely rapport with the patient, and the patient really valued their input."

Thank you from Reverend Sally Horner, Acting Head of Spiritual and Pastoral Care for the volunteer chaplaincy team:

"Chaplaincy Volunteers offer religious, spiritual and pastoral care to patients of all faiths or no faith as required. They also support staff and provide a regular presence on the wards where otherwise there would be none. As a very small spiritual and pastoral care team of just currently 2.5 chaplains, our chaplaincy volunteers are invaluable for patients and staff, to help support the work of our team which otherwise would leave community hospitals and a couple of the forensic mental health wards without regular access to spiritual and pastoral care support."

A celebration of the Walking with You volunteers and team in Buckinghamshire CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) from Roxy Uritescu, Participation Lead:

“WWY is not just the main parent support group that CAMHS offers, but a space where parents can actually speak about their own matters in a room full of people who, in one way or another have been in their shoes. Where parents feel listened to and not alone. WWY has supported hundreds of parents over the years and is always welcoming any parent with no judgment. WWY CARES!”

A thank you from Charlotte Arnold, Patient Experience and Complaints Coordinator (PALS - Patient Advice and Liaison Service):

“Our PALS volunteers help with our ward visits, giving patients and family members an opportunity to talk and listen about their experiences. Their support and dedication means so much to our patients and staff members. They really make a difference to enhance our patients experience and collate great feedback.”
