It was great to see the volunteers from Good Gym Oxford back at the Warneford this week!

The team of volunteers undertook two important tasks for our Green Spaces programme - one more seasonal than the other.

Firstly, they took some time to harvest apples in the Warneford Meadow orchard, a task being undertaken throughout September by members of staff, patients and local community groups.  These apples are all collected and taken to be pressed by local juice producer, Tiddly Pommes.  The Warneford Apple Juice produced is beautifully tart to taste and we hope to have enough for some bottles to be made available for the charity.

Secondly, the team did a litter pick around the hospital site to help maintain the beautiful surroundings that patients, carers and staff can all benefit from.

Anwen and the volunteers reported on their visit on the Good Gym website.

We're core-fully thankful to all the volunteers for their support!
