The annual Cowley Christmas Tree Festival at St. James Church in Oxford has once again proven to be a beacon of community generosity. This year, the festival raised a wonderful £250 for both SeeSaw and ROSY (Respite for Oxfordshire’s Sick Youngsters), adding to the £8,575 raised for ROSY since the event began in 2012.

During the festival a member of the ROSY nursing team and Laura Breakwell, Head of Children’s Services, attended a service to talk about the impact that the community's fundraising has had on the lives of those supported by ROSY.

Our ROSY appeal is dedicated to delivering additional respite care to Oxfordshire's terminally ill, acute and chronically sick children, who are supported in their own homes. For parents and families, looking after their loved ones is a relentless 24/7 cycle of care. This is where Oxford Health Charity’s support through our ROSY appeal comes in. Our appeal funds a team of healthcare professionals who provide direct care to the children.

We would like to use this opportunity to thank the team at St. James Church for their ongoing support and everyone who has donated over the last few years.
