Oxford Health Charity is thrilled to share that we have secured funding from South Oxfordshire District Council to enhance the outdoor spaces at Wallingford Community Hospital through public art.
Mosaics in Progress
A key part of this project is the creation of three large-scale mosaics, designed and created with patients, staff and local mosaic artist Becky Paton. When complete, the mosaics will be on public display across the hospital grounds.
The collaboration with adult mental health services and patients from St Leonard's ward has also offered participants the chance to engage in therapeutic art activities that support wellbeing and recovery.

The project which is due to be completed in September also includes, a nature trail, wayfinding, and nature markers, has been designed to encourage connection with nature. We will continue to share updates and photos as the project progresses.
