A big thank you to the Chiltern Rangers Team who returned to Saffron House, Wycombe last week

As part of an ongoing project with the Oxford Health Charity to enhance the green spaces for patients, carers and staff at the site, the team returned to the garden spaces at Saffron House last week.  This time they were joined by a small team of young people who are taking part in their Stepping Stones to Employability programme (a funded project supporting young people with additional education needs).

The team took time to clear weeds, water, tidy and plant some new bedding plants - thanks to one of the Chiltern Rangers volunteers who donated a bundle of begonias.

As you can see from the photos below, they made a real difference to the footpath and welcome areas which they hope those using the site will be happy with.

The team will be back in October to 'put the gardens to bed' before the winter and do further weeding, pruning and tidying.
